Working at Nordiska
Since our founding, we have been committed to driving innovation and creating meaningful impact. We work towards an ambitious vision and goals, backed up by our history of successfully delivering high-quality results and sustainable growth.
Historically and going forward, the people working at Nordiska are what enables our success. We balance our professional environment with an entrepreneurial mindset, always acting with honesty and responsibility, to build long-term trust among customers, partners and employees.
About the Role
As an Analyst in Nordiska’s Credit Risk department, you will analyse data and develop credit models that directly influence our lending strategies and decisions. You will help strengthen our use of data in lending to both new and existing customers, covering consumer and corporate lending across the Nordics and Continental Europe. This is an opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to develop their expertise in quantitative analysis and credit risk modelling.
In the role, you will:
Collect, structure and analyse data from internal and external sources.
Develop and maintain credit scoring models and other credit risk parameters, such as loss given default (LGD).
Perform quantitative analysis to inform improvements to credit strategies.
Validate models against internal requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks, including IFRS 9 and CRR/Basel.
Work closely with IT and Data teams to implement models in systems and processes.
Conduct stress tests and scenario analyses.
Support new product launches and expansion into new markets.
Your Professional Profile
We are looking for an analytical and curious person who enjoys working with data and solving complex problems. You work methodically, question assumptions and connect your findings to their implications for the business.
You collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams and explain analysis results and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We believe that you have:
A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
Up to 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a related role within financial services. We also welcome applications from recent graduates.
A foundation in quantitative methods and data analysis gained through your studies or professional experience.
Experience working with risk models and analytical tools is an advantage.
Experience using SAS, R or Python for data analysis is an advantage.
Application
If you’re looking to join a growth-driven environment that pairs innovation with profitability and reliability, welcome to Nordiska. We look forward to receiving your application.
