About the role
As a Data Engineer at Nordiska, you will be a key player in our Data & Analytics team, operating within a cutting-edge, cloud-based environment. Your primary responsibility will be to construct and optimize data flows into our data warehouse, while also contributing to various data-related initiatives across the organization. In collaboration with your team, you will develop and sustain data models, perform data quality checks, and translate business and operational requirements into data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our data strategy and empowering our organization with data-driven insights.
Your profile
As a Data Engineer with us, you're someone who's deeply passionate and curious about data and technology. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you're given significant responsibility to make an impact. You have confidence in your abilities and a structured approach to executing on your responsibilities.
You have a proven track record of building and optimizing ELT/ETL flows, demonstrating your understanding of data modeling and analytical tools. You are driven by the challenge of untangling intricate data problems. Your analytical prowess is exceptional, and you have a knack for converting business requirements into data-informed insights and solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or computer science
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a data engineering role
- Worked with some data orchestration tool such as Apache Airflow, Airbyte or Prefect
- Worked with some data warehouse platform such as Snowflake, Big Query or Databricks
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Fluency in both Swedish and English
Nice to have
- Experience from working with dbt
- Knowledge about ML/AI frameworks such as Langchain and Hugging Face
- Experience from building and maintaining ML-pipelines
- Prior work experience from the financial sector
